Module 1/2 Single stage / two stage compression refrigeration systems

Pipework design for suction, discharge, liquid, injection and condensate lines in both copper and steel.
Design and calculation of hot gas bypass pressure, flow velocity and part load operation.
Calculation of double risers for design of critical systems.
Pressure enthalpy graphic resprentation of the system design.
Detemination of the energy consumption and therefore CO2 emissions of the plant depending on the different components selectected.
Over 30 different refrigerants including zeotropic blends.
Wide range of compressors design characteristics including: reciprocating, scroll, screw, open, semi and fully hermetic.

Calculation of mixing of two different airflows, latent and sensible heat, heating cooling and humidification.
Transfer of data to CoolTool plant design.

Module 7 Coldroom Load Calculation

Calculations of refrigerated products taking into account the input temperature, specific heat capacities before and after solidification and respiratory heat.
User expandable database of produce.
Occupancy times and intervals changable together with indoor and outdoor humidity conditions.
Calculation of temperature difference across evaporator.
Design and calculation of Evaporator, fan performance or use characteristics from the extensive database.

Module 8 Cooling Load for Air Conditioning

Necessary cooling load from shares of the different internal and external loads like heat transmission, sun radiation, air exchange, persons and electrical power.
Consideration of the latent and sensitive enthalpy.
Change of the geografical data for calculation of the specific sun radiation.
Consideration of the store capacity of the walls.
Consideration of the air exchange with outside and inside air humidity.
Individual construction of wall with calculation of the heat transmission from building material database.
Output of the calculation data to CoolTool plant design.
Data of the storage are saved together with the plant information in the main project of the CoolTool plant design software.
